Numan vs WMG Meds: honest UK comparison
UK telehealth brand with named GMC clinicians and a separate Diagnostics service (not currently integrated into the hair-loss flow).
What Numan does well
An honest comparison starts with crediting the competitor where credit is due. These are verifiable strengths.
- ✓ Names four UK clinicians including BSSM-credentialled Dr Dimitris Schizas.
- ✓ Transparent per-tablet and per-bottle pricing (e.g. finasteride from £1.00/tablet, minoxidil spray £30/bottle).
- ✓ Operates a separate Diagnostics service for blood testing.
What WMG Meds offers structurally
clinical credentials
Specialist Register Plastic Surgery vs BSSM
Dr Sebastian Deme is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery (since 7 June 2017), relevant to the surgical pathway. Numan's most credentialled hair-loss clinician (Dr Schizas) is MRCGP MSC BSSM, which is the appropriate credential for sexual medicine but is not a Specialist Register hair-restoration entry.
clinical integration
Integrated bloods within the same clinical record
WMG Health bloods and WMG Meds prescribing sit under one CQC-registered clinical provider with shared clinical correspondence. Numan's Diagnostics service is operationally separate from the hair-loss flow.
service model
In-person Harley Street option for blood draw and surgery
Patients can attend 134 Harley Street for the blood draw (WMG Health) or the surgical consultation (WMG London) under the same group. Numan is fully digital.

When Numan is the better fit for you
Numan is a strong choice for fully-digital UK hair loss with transparent per-unit pricing and a separate diagnostics arm. WMG is a better fit if you want bloods integrated into your hair-loss prescriber's clinical record from day one, or if you may consider transplant.
